Eduwear - IoT for children's education

Computers are getting smaller and becoming more as so-called wearables: they can be integrated unobtrusively into everyday objects. They are even making incursions into our clothes. During the Ars Electronica Festival I worked as a facilitator representing DIMEB (digital media for education) A German Research Lab based in Bremen.

I carried out workshops to teach IoT and wearables for children presenting the open source visual programming interface (Amici). The EduWear project was funded by the European Union within the Socrates (Minerva) program from October 2006 until September 2008.  The software can still be download for free in several languages @ Eduwear construction kit – get started
